MVCU was one of twenty companies honored in the medium-sized category for its outstanding workplace culture.

Lawrence, Mass. – Merrimack Valley Credit Union (MVCU) has been named as one of Boston Business Journal’s (BBJ) 2023 Best Places to Work. Out of the 300-plus businesses who were nominated, only 80 were selected overall. Businesses were ranked in small, medium, large and extra large categories, and MVCU was one of 20 medium-sized companies to receive the honor.

For 21 years, the annual Best Places to Work program has recognized companies who have cultivated a great workplace culture for their employees. To be eligible for this honor, the company needs to have a minimum of 20 employees and have a physical office in Massachusetts.

As part of the nomination process, MVCU was asked to respond to the question “What makes [your business] a ‘Best Place to Work’?” and MVCU employees completed a confidential, anonymous survey, scoring the company on various factors such as job satisfaction, engagement, communication, retention and teamwork.
